Paper Development Workshop with Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal

This workshop aims to provide scholars with developmental feedback on their current research in entrepreneurship and to help them position their manuscripts for possible submission to the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal (SEJ).
Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal is a reference journal in the field of Entrepreneurship. Whether you are exploring entrepreneurship at different levels of analysis or using various empirical methods, your research is invited and valued. This workshop provides a platform for collaboration, feedback, and improvement, ensuring your work aligns with SEJ.

The submission deadline is March 30 at 23:59 (Lisbon Time). Each participant can only submit one full paper or extended abstract in the field of Entrepreneurship. The paper submitted for consideration must be in English and not have been published. Please also upload a cover letter with title, all authors’ names, e-mails, affiliations, and the indication of the author(s) planning to attend the workshop. Authors will be notified about the status of their submissions by April 30, 2026.
Please note that this is an on-site event, which will take place in Coimbra (Convento São Francisco, Almedina Room) on June 3 from 10:30 to 18:00 (Lisbon time).

LEGAL INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AT UC

  1. The University of Coimbra (UC) is collecting my personal data, in this context and form, for registration in the Paper Development Workshop, as well as the dissemination of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Venture Capital programmes, in the Startup Capital Summit 2026 event.
  2. The treatment of personal data is a shared responsibility between three entities (University of Coimbra, Coimbra City Council, and Pedro Nunes Institute).
  3. The personal data requested in the form, and provided by me, are only those considered essential for the purposes indicated in point 1.
  4. The retention period for nominative data will be 18 months. After this date, the data will be anonymized and kept for scientific and historical archiving purposes.
  5. There are no communications, interconnections, or cross-border flows of personally identifiable information to the recipient.
  6. As the data subject, in accordance with the Law, I have the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, and the right not to be subject to automated decisions, which may be exercised at any time, in writing, by email to ucbusiness@uc.pt. I also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNPD (National Data Protection Commission).

The Controllers guarantee compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as other applicable legislation, undertaking to respect and comply with the rights expressed in point six, when applicable under the law, and not to make personal data available to third parties in a nominative form without my personal authorization.
